Privacy Statement

WQBR and Maximum Impact Communications care about the privacy of our listeners and website visitors. Under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, passed by Congress and implemented by the Federal Trade Commission (effective on April 21, 2000), we must take additional steps to protect the privacy of our website users under the age of 13. We will require the written permission of a parent to collect, use or disclose any personally identifiable information submitted to the WQBR website by any visitor under the age of 13. Each parent will receive via U.S. Mail a notice of how WQBR will use the information collected on the website. In addition, the parent has certain rights, spelled out below, regarding the use of and reasonable access to this information.

WQBR will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

Submission of Information

We collect information from children under 13 in the following ways:

Feedback Section

Sharing Information with Other Parties

We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. For example, we may inform an advertiser that a certain percentage of the Country Club membership is men over the age of 30. The aggregated demographic information is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

We may also, in the future, make contact information available to retailers and other web publishers. You, as parents, have the right to prevent us from disclosing this information.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our children’s privacy policy, we will post those changes on our homepage so our users and their parents are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
