You may have never heard of her, but Sharon Jones was a force of nature.
She always wanted to be a singer, but her chance didn't come until later in her life - while waiting for a break, she took many jobs, including prison guard - at New York City's notorius Rikers Island.
And when that opportunity came, she worked it - building her own r&b band, the Dap-Kings, and hitting the road for live performances that anyone who ever saw them still marvel at.
Sharon Jones died this week after bravely fighting pancreatic cancer for four years.
She left a legacy - and this web-only ad for Lincoln - which, thankfully, puts the car in a supporting role.
You've never heard the Allman Brothers like this - RIP, Sharon Jones.
